I just thought you guys would like to see pictures from our first annual Maverick engine swap summit 2009 that we held on Sunday June 14. The day was sunny and warm, just perfect! Take a look.

After the big engine swap as payment Larry fired up the 'ol BAR-B-Q



and BAR-B-Q-ED up some Maverick burgers for the boys, yummy!

Thanks Carrie for all the pics you take at every event we go to. I'd like thank Gord ,Trevor , Big Joe (my son) for all the help , Two boxes of burgers -gone ,One large salad - gone , 24 beer almost gone. Oh and 1 large chocolate milk for Carrie -gone.

Not yet, still need to put in the 5 speed and the drive shaft.

 

At least it's a classic Mustang ...it's better than a dime a dozen Mustang.

the Mav is sweet..... but the 67/68 fastback is really nice! (for a stang)

 

I sure wish a hand full of guys would show up here and do work like that. Looks like a blast.

 

Yeah that was my way out of working, besides no one wants to see this face on any of these posts. Scary stuff.

 

Yes and thanks again Carrie for all that work in holding the camera and steady.Oh ya, thanks Carrie for parking all the cars in the driveway, Good job. What a blast , too much beer or should i say, just the right amount of beer. And there was no whining or complaining , just a good time.

 

I figure i might as well post pictures of all the guys cars that came out on Sunday for our first annual Maverick engine swap summit 2009 as some of the cars could not be brought out as they are race Mavericks and not road legal, here goes:
