Is it possible to move the Rad to the outside of the brackets and get an inch or two more clearance? A bit of metal fabbing... or cut the ends of the fan blades off ...ehhh, maybe not

just buy one of these it comes with the fan
I just order two of them. I wanted to order both from Monster cooling and screwed up and ordered one from someone else and Monster Cooling has already shipped the one I ordered from them on Sunday. The other place I haven't even heard from yet.
These are the ones that Jimmy was supposed to have something to do with getting them manufatured I heard goo things about them so I ordered one for each of my cars because they both have holy radiators right now

Any of the early 90's up to '94 will work fine, just make sure it comes from a 3.8 or SHO Taurus. The 3.0 won't work. You can also get them from the early 90's 3.8 Sable or Lincoln Continental, which both have the same underpinnings as the Taurus.

Don't listen to all these yayhoos...

Just bend that blade a little so it clears...

    just kidding...

AutoZone sells a decent fan with shroud in various sizes, so you don't have to go junkyard crawling.

$59.99 at Autozone. "Straight blade The recommended add-on fan is based on the largest fan that will fit the specific vehicle and engine application. Add-on requires fan thermostat sold separately for proper installation and operation." Do I have to do this or can I just hard wire it to the ignition?[IMG]

why would you pay $59.99 for that fan when Champion cooling has the same "made in china" fan for half the price and it is only $10 or $20 more if you buy it with the alum. radiator

I have heard bad thinks about the "zip tie" mounting of those fans though.

I heard that even though they are plastic that the vibrations from the fan will vibrate the zip tie right through the cooling fins or sometimes the other way around
