My biggest problem is trying to figure out separte cost of all my projects i guess i need a filing system. Have you ever got mad that a part went out on your car because you know you just replaced it then realized it was a different car you were thinking about..

i did alot of tradeing of parts and labor with people to get my car to where it is now. actual amount ive payed out of pocket has to be around $5000.00. if i payed for alot of the stuff that i traded for then its probly closer to $10,000.00.

I'm sure I have spent close to $3500-$4200 on my Mav so far and I haven't rebuilt the front end yet. Also, that's not including the money I spent buying it which I sort regret now since I should have looked at the car more. I probably could have gotten a much better equipped car for what I paid for my Mav. But oh well, can't go back can I? I still love my car though.

I passed the $10K mark a while ago, and the car looks the worst it ever has right now .... Many improvements in the works right now.

Being that I have had it for 18 years, and it was my daily driver for about 7 of them takes some of the pain out of saying that. Divide it out, it is $555 per year. :thumbs2:

This build (road race) I expect 40 to 60 thousand and thats with me doing 90 percent of the work. Then I start building a Maverick limo. I hope to keep that one cheap;) after that I may just go ahead and build that twin turbo 6.0l mav.....I'm broke for life:D

I'm only in mine about 1600, got it for $1k and I've only fixed things that broke and added a set of tires. Planning on more stuff next year.

Being in the trade is handy for keeping the cost down isnt it. I have around 1800 into mine for complete tear down, strip and eventually paint and reassemble. Would have been easy 7 grand.

    Not Mav, but Pinto wagon....

Paid too $%#& much for it to start with, now easily have over $5k in it, quit keeping up several months ago. Too depressing. To boot, looking at it as it stands would give no indication whatsoever it has that money in it. It's a big 'ol money pit, no doubt.
