I am planning on taking my maverick to bama maybe next weekend if things go good. I am hoping to run a high 9 and drive it back home. Anyone want to race me:chirp:

I'm assuming this is an 1/8 mile track? Good luck.

Good luck! I gaurantee you'll have fun. I always do when I go racin. High 9's should be easy. Your setup is very close to mine and I ran a 9.06, and my carb could use some tuning. It bogged off the line. I know mine's got 8's in it.

Oh that open diff will kill you. I've got a spool, so mine doesn't spin bad at all unless I try to.

Have you tried to preload the traction bars yet? If not than it will help quit a bit. At least make it spin both tires.

anybody know how to pick up 3.5 seconds in the 1/8 for no money. I am not going to get outrun on my bday even though blown 5.0 could give me 1/2 the track and still catch me. :thumbs2:
