the reason some headers say for off road use only is for smog reasons. in california, headers have to be certified by the california air resources board (carb) to be smog leagle. so manifactures that dont spend the big money to get that certication need to advise the buyer that the header is not leagle for street use by saying offroad use only. its leagle b.s.

I thought the window crank was held on by a screw? And the parking light/brakes thing-check your light sockets, probably one of 'em grounded out inside. My '77 Ranger done that, one of the front sockets was bad. They sell new ones at the chain parts stores.

Ill look into that about the socket issue :Handshake

On second thought maybe I lost the screw??? Not sure, I had a '78 silverado that had a broken door handle too, maybe the '78 had a clip and the mav had a screw? the door panel was off the car being re-done at the time so I might have just held off putting the screw back in.

:dancing:If the crank handle has a hole in the middle, it's a sure bet, it needs a screw to hold it in place.;):D
