Well it is common sense, no one would put that much into a Maverick or Comet...

But, it is one of the most advanced Mavericks (if not the most) out there, and he's put some mega miles on it. :thumbs2:

40? Naa, maybe close to 30... :tiphat:
Frank has more in his, and it's not even painted.
Either way, I enjoy it, it's my hobby, expensive but fun. I enjoy the hunt for parts, that can't just be ordered from a catalog. I actually enjoy building the cars, more than driving them. But that may change with my latest project....we'll see.
Even my Mustang friends admit that doing a Maverick is more time consuming and can be more expensive (in some ways), and these are guys with MCA judged cars.

If I had it to spend I could easily drop $50K into mine. I have ideas...things I want to do to it but no cash. With unlimited funding I could always find something else to buy and do.

What's the most any Maverick or Comet has been sold for, and what was it? Anybody? Just curious.

This was a Comet that sold on Barret Jackson a few years ago.

But I have a list of other cars, Mavericks & Comets that have sold for similar, and even higher values, not just from Ebay.
I was bidding on a 72 Grabber at a local auction, that finished at over $11000.00

If I had unlimited funds I would drop a twenty on a restored and modded to my liking Comet.
