At 5:30 this morning, after idling(warming up) for 20 minutes or so I backed up to head to work. I noticed the idle was a little high so I pulled back up and popped the hood to turn it down a hair. As I did the front of my radiator blew a seam. Nice and terrifying about a foot from my head.

I have a manual radiator so I'll have to get a transcooler I guess providing the radiator still works, one of the side braces popped off when I was cleaning it. You know the sides where the rod goes across.
    Life...

If you say so, I think that "radiator" is over rated and over played as well. lol

A new one is like $180 so that will be about 6 months of saving LOL!
Looks like she's parked for the duration. Cool while it lasted, she will ride again.

I don't know your situation, but I do know $180 is worth it to have the car going again, hopefully you can come up with it or borrow the cash.

So both of your used radiators are garbage now?

Transparent aluminum hasn't been invented yet. That radiator is from the future, where cars run on dilithium crystals. (thus the inlet/outlets are wrong, as if you can't see for yourself...)

The original is crap, the manual one fell apart when I was flushing it out LOL. The only other radiators I have are for a Chevy van and a Honda Accord. It's okay, something will come up, I have faith.

I borrowed the $250 it took to get the wifes transmission fixed and it didn't fix it so first I have to pay back that. It's just my life yall. It happens to me all the time. I get too content and The Fates decide to slap me with reality.

That could've been a Drew quote not long ago. Does it ever seem like some powerful entity with a sick sense of humor is just kinda playing with you sometimes?

Are you anywhere near Charlotte or Winston-Salem? Pull-A-Part sells radiators for $26.73. Charlotte has a Maverick, but I'll bet there are numerous other cars out there with radiators that would fit. That's what I'd do in this situation...
