I find it funny that this forum was DEAD all day long, then I wake up in the middle of the night at 1am and we are "alive and well!"

I dropped my car about where yours is, then started to hit EVERYTHING on the road. Then I had to increase tire size to clear even small speedbumps. I went from 195/60 to 215/60 before speedbumps were no longer a SERIOUS issue to clear my headers. I still have to take them slow, or at an angle, if I can.

Then, a couple weeks ago, I had to drive Rick Books car to the car hauler trailer to haul it off to Oregon for Yellow75, and that thing was LOW!!! You know those little cracks in the road with a little wooden spacer??? It would bottom out on those!

 

only 11 here, i can't say i know about those " little cracks in the road with a little wooden spacer" but the car sounds prrrretty low.

 

Those little cracks between the cement blocks in the road. There is usually a wooden spacer between them, at least here in Texas. Allows the cement to expand on hot days.

When I drove Rick Book's Mav to the trailer, maybe a mile drive, It would scrape the headers each time I hit those spacers.

I was SO glad to hand those keys over to the guy who drove the hauler truck.

Very nice job! Where I live a lowered front end would be disastrous. It looks great though. Decided on a color yet?

Still undecided. Good question though; Should probably start thinking about that. I'll be spraying myself.

Think about it and think about the primer. My theory is that the primer could make a mood change with the color of the paint. But what do I know...

 

I look at your gallery and seen you interior,you dash the top of it,i'm guessing its a dash cap.

 

Oh, that's really old, when i had diamond-tuck fabric over my cracked dash. now there's no dash in there, i have a perfect one though I'll be putting in.

 

Was it jus a peice of fabric or like a fit'd cap?
