The best year of Maverick / Comet is the one (or more) that you own!
The most valuable (according to the book) is the 1970 and right behind it is the 71 4 door. (I don't set the values - I just read em)

71 or 72 grabber for me if you mean stock /no mods, I like the hood and spoiler, of the 2 the 71 had the more powerful v8 so 71 would be my choise, 3rd would be 72 sprint

im partial to 73 models myself. the "medium" front bumper is a nice compromise between the non-protective small bumper but yet isnt a park bench on the front of ur car like the 74-up models.

my second favorite is the '71 model. the v8 cars has better hp than other yrs and this was the first yr for the 302, bucket seats and deluxe interior become optional, 5lug for the V8 cars, and a handful of other options that i find interesting (like two-tone paint for instance )

my least favorite is the 74 model. only like 10% had disc brakes, they're all big bumpered, most were 6cyl from what ive seen, and i just dont like 'em lol

I like the 1971 models of both cars.

I just like 1971 in general.
