It has leaked every since I installed it. So yesterday I took it off and took the fittings off and put new pipe thread compound on and screwed them back in. The first day it didn't leak at all. But today it started leaking again. Nothing major but the car sure smells of gas and the bottom of the pump is wer. I know it's the fittings because some of the pipe thread seems to get dissolved in the gasoline and seeps out. The rubber hoses are secure and I checked those a couple of times. I'm thinking I'm using the wrongs pipe thread compound. I'm using the one from home depot that you use on gas pipes etc. any ideas?
Anytime I've put stuff on I've use the pipe tape. You buy it by the roll and just put a couple of wraps around the threads.
Mo, I'd try tightening it some more or using some tape. That pipe sealant paste usually works for me When you going racing? I might try to test up at Irwindale this Thursday, can you make it?
going to Fontana this weekend for sure Erick. Bryant is going as well. I don't think I can make irwindale, already scheduled to work. Can you make it to fontana this sunday?
Cool, have fun there. My car is not allowed at that race cause its too fast. No cars quicker than 10.0 seconds allowed. If I have time maybe I'll try to make it out and watch you guys.

i just looked it up 2010 Street Legal Drag Racing Schedule January 9 February 28 April 3 May 1 June 5 July 17 October 30 December 4 it used to be like every other Saturday now its like once a month I wonder how packed its going to be, when i used to go you would get lucky to get 4-6 passes per day (about 1 per hour). I know a bunch on the D series honda guys are going. Normaly it would be 400 cars per weekend, i'm guessing its going to be a whole lot more.
