2 mav tail lights as one ?

    has anyone put 2 maverick lights together as one tail light but without the center reverse lights ?? :huh:

    that's what i am thinking of doing

    what should i use to weld/soldier the 2 together after that i plan to apoxie the back to make it stronger then bond the front till it's straight then paint it

    i rember some one's post doing something that involved something like that but i cant find it

    it's like this one i'm not sure if i want the reverence lights tho img_0748_original.jpg

    and i'm going to have the center of the mavs lens light up to

    Wouldn't it just be easier to buy a set of bobcat tail lights? They are exactly what you are wanting and you wouldn't have to do any fab work.

    cant find any // and i have few sets of mav light just lying around

    and i can say they are maverick tail lights not chevy of mercury ??

    A couple of guys have done it. And I think there is a writeup about doing it on here somewhere.

    i maid one yesterday and this is how it turned out

    i welded the light bulb holder in the center of each housing so that the whole light will light up

    i might leave them chrome if i get the seam on the other one good like the first one

    before i moved them
