Any pics? Get enough tire to fill those rear wheel wells! With the right back spacing, and after rolling the lips, 295/50-15s will fit, running 275/60-15 myself ;)
What kinda cam do you have? I say if you have a decent one, try running open headers, that'll make 'em snap their heads when you rev it up :thumbs2:

What did you do to get the rear 6-8 inches higher?

Well, when the air shocks punch a hole through the plate, and your car slams down on the ground...That sure as hell will get peoples attention!
If he was a suspension genuis,he wouldn't be putting air shocks on a maverick or comet!!!
These cars are not built to take them.

Tell your friend to take those air shocks off ASAP. They will punch a hole through the car and you will end up paying a lot to get it fixed. Hell, go take them off right now if you can.

Yeah careful about those air shocks! My passenger side rear shock ripped the mount right out from the rest of the underbody and that was from stock replacements! Be careful on those dips! Hmm.. Yeah a 4bbl and a nice aluminum manifold will wake up that 302! Put some long tube headers on it.. I'm gonna assume it's a column shifter with that c4, so you will need Hooker headers bracket 10961HKR to move that slave cylinder

Look up underneath where the top of the shock mounts. You'll see a bracket that is bolted to a "plate".Thats all it is a thin pc of sheet metal. With the air shocks supporting the weight of the whole ass end of the car, somethings going to give...and it'll be that plate.

Quick question...Your buddy put air shocks on a car that shouldn't have them...and He's a suspension genuis...How does he balance tires?Does he take a lugnut or two off and send You on your way?
