Possible, but inspect them carefully. I wouldn't, since pushrods are cheap and readily available, but I guess I might if I knew they were straight and didn't have a lot of wear on them.
Yes, just make sure they're straight (roll them on a flat surface.) Also you have to make sure they're the correct length when you change the cam, rockers, it changes. Usually when you go with a small cam the stock ones will work.. http://www.circletrack.com/techarticles/ctrp_0609_pushrod_length/index.html
Bought mine from O'Reilly a couple of weeks ago. http://www.oreillyauto.com/site/c/d...vi=1132119&keyword=pushrod&pt=02357&ppt=C0146 16 @ $1.69 ea. = @27.50
I've reused pushrods many times in stock motor rebuilds. If I was building a motor for alot of horsepower, I'd definately replace them with better ones.
If you are using a mid to high rpm cam you will need screw-in studs and if you are using roller rockers you will need guide plates. Using guide plates means that you have to use hardened push rods. If the engine is remaining stock, and your push rods are not worn or bent then yes, you can reuse them with no problems expected - but they are used parts and should be either closely examined or replaced for the sake of longevity's sake. Personal choice because you get to take the credit or the blame.
