    new to the sight but i do own a pro-street 1972 maverick with a 418 stroker,2-speed powerglid other words nice little hot rod.More to come got to go to work.:thumbs2:

    FINALLY GOT SOME TIME,TO REALLY VIEW THE SITE.I HAVE A 1972 MAVERICK WITH A 418 STROKER,DART PRO 1 HEADS,750 DBL PUMPER,2 SPEED POWER GLID REVERSE SHIFT,MINI TUBE WITH 9INCH REAR,455 GEARS,3500 STALL WITH A OPTION OF NOS.THE MOTOR WAS A 351W.IT HAS A LITTLE OVER 500HP.I DRIVE THIS THING TO WORK AND TO THE TRACK.HAVEN'T TRUELLY GOT IN THE GAS YET WAITING TO LET THE ENGINE GET SOME MILES ON IT.MADE THAT MISTAKE ONCE and it costed some $'s to get it fixed.When i first got the car it was a 393 ran 1/8 in low 6's.Well got to go gald to be on the site :tiphat:

    Hello bad418, and welcome to the board. I'm fairly new here my self. It looks like I live about 10-15 minutes away from you. I recently met "bossed" on this site. It turns out that we both work at Cherry Point, and just have'nt had time to go meet him yet. Small world.:burnout: :Welcome:

    Yep,your just right up the street from me.Matter of fact i bought the 72 maverick off hwy 53 across from Mcdonald's.Very small world.

    :drive:Sorry guys have been very busy at work.When your the boss this is what happens no time for personal things.To let you know about my 72 maverick,well it is on the rack in the shop motor,transmission rear end gas tank,interior basically the car is apart.We are going with a major overhaul from the ground up.We even cut the frontend off and put in a mustang ii suspension.This is going to be one nasty little ride when it is all said and done.Major work all over the car we are putting in a ten point cage and fuel cell so if any guys need suspension parts i have original parts.Shock towers complete front end control arms upper and lower 8inch rear,c4 tranny with a 2200 stall and a 351 built for bracket racing all of this is for sale.I do have the build sheet on the motor.The motor in the car ran a
    6.40 all it needs is a carb and water pump.I will send pictures when we get done.If you need anything for a maverick call me i may have something you need>:thumbs2:
