I plan to get my Maverick painted soon with grabber stripes as I don't like those vinyl stick-ons. problem is, the local Maacos has no idea what they look like, and I want them done right.
Can someone give me either a flat diagram as example of how the stripes look or a really high res shot of the side of a Maverick with grabbers?

I'm looking for the side tape, by the way, not the hood.

    Thanks!

contact a company that makes the stickers. they should be able to make a masking for you.

If you want the stripes done right...I doubt if Maaco will be able to do the job.

I recommend tape stripes for accuracy.

Was it '70 that didn't have the "Grabber" script in the stripe?

I have to agree those stripes are not easy to paint on. I doubt Maaco can pull it off in most cases......There was one good MAACO in the Cincinnati area. They did great work.....lotsa show cars....but the rest of them were Amateur
    at best.....

Okay, then who makes the best looking grabber stripes? I need some good red ones. I'd prefer the type WITHOUT the word grabber written on the stripe.

Any place that sells the 1970 Grabber stripes should be able to make you a set in red if you ask.
