In about 4 hours I pick up my "new" car. A 1996 Olds eighty eight as a daily driver. And as of Midnight tonight, my insurance on the Comet gets turned into parking insurance. The ol' girl is going to start getting the special treatment of bodywork, engine swap (351w!), new seals around the windows/doors and maybe *maybe* new interior (if I can find a decent place for a decent price) I'm not looking to build a showcar, but I am looking to build a head turner. As for the color, I'm still on the fence between a deep Ford blue, or just a nice gloss black. Est time of project 1 year. (We have mostly everything we need already) I'm really going to miss all the thumbs ups in the mean time.
I'm hoping to have this done ASAP as I uh, moved back home (crack heads tried robbing my old place) and my mom wants less cars in front of the house. My dads truck, pinto (Soon to also have a 351w. Yeah, he's a little crazy) my brothers MX3 with a 3800 supercharged out of a GTP placed in the rear of the car, my moms truck, my comet and my Oldmanmoboat. Dad also has a bout 8 cars in the back.
