72 Comet.. 4 lug. I'm gonna change to granada discs up front so I will be going to 15" 5 lug up front. I'm a 72 Comet 6 cylinder 200. What do I do about the 4 lugs in the rear?? Gotta match right? Do I look for a whole new rear axle....is that what I'm reading?? I have plenty of wheel well is ther a good adaptor 4 to 5 lug or is that completely Mickey Mouse?

Doesn't HAVE to match but you might want to carry two spare's incase you get a flat tire. Adapters put a lot of strain on the lugs...I'd go with a whole 5-lug rear end

avoiding two spares...that is technically the main reason they need to match on a road car. I've noticed that the cash for clunkers program has really made Granadas/Monarchs scarce nowadays. Thanks...

Cash for clunkers didnt have any effect on our cars. They were too old to qualify. The rising cost of steel took all of the mavericks, comets, granadas, monarchs, ect ect out ouf the junkyards around here.
