Would not help any with the car in Williams AZ LOL

Car comes home this weekend though, I even told a little white lie to get Friday off to work on the car:dancing:

After I get it home this weekend after all my welding and major mod stuff it should be smooth sailing then just wrapping up details.

    Ooooo...shiney...

Sorry, I get off track sometimes! See why I don't get this stupid car done?!?

Anyhow, now that I look at this tiny pile...shouldn't I have gotten more for that much money?

I'm glad that everyone is looking forward to seeing it. It makes it all worthwhile! I'm even passing up my annual trip to Parker for the off road race to be at the meet. With any luck it will move under it's own power...but then maybe I'll just show up early and push it off the trailer and act like it drove there!

Tony if I have to I will be the one to volunteer to check the hot side pipes to confirm if it made it their on its own or not. It's ok to trailer as long as you dont claim it ran. You can't fool us :naughty:

careful with the torches. 71nogo will take them to keep warm since we wont let him bring his drum to build a fire in.

Well I got one side fabbed up tonight. I need a 3" hole saw (another $20) to cut the hole in the cowl (hopefully this car will never get a bath or get caught in the rain!). I know there are a bunch of guys out there with rusted out cowls just hating me right now. Oh well, you do what you have to do. Anyhow I will finish that side up tomorrow night. I've got to borrow my buddies bead roller in order to make a bead on the ends of the tubes to keep the silicone couplers on and he is across town. Then it's off to the welding shop and all the cost associated with that. I wonder if one of those cash for title places would float me some money?!? LOL You are right though Gene...not a big pile there but there is the bling value! As they used to say in one of my favorite TV shows that was summarially cancelled, 'Shiney!' (For the uninitiated the show was Firefly, or the movie Serenity.)

The guys who cry about money the most are always the ones that have so much of it anyway.:D
