Problem now is the fuel pump is leaking. So that's got to go back to Aeromotive.

Wiring is finally done though and I was starting on cutting up my carpeting to fit around the roll cage.

So where are you proposing to go? The cruise at Chilibombers after meeting up at Sardella's?

 

Ya tony, cruise over to Chilli Bombers. If I knew that was where the show moved to we probably would have started there. But I like the idea of meeting away from all other cars. The Safeway lot should be empty so we have lots of room to take pics of he cars. We will have about an hour of sunlight then grab a bite to eat and make a short cruise.

 

I'm not sure that it moved, but I read on another board where there was this struggle between the two. Finally I guess they must have given up on the Safeway one. That's a shame, the lot over there isn't nearly as big as the Safeway lot was.

 

I heard that since the Safeway was closed the property management didnt want them gathering there because there was nobody to over see the and clean up.

Yes we can still meet up there. They just dont want the big weekly show gathering. Plus we will be customers of Sardellas pizza so we have every righ tto park in the lot. It's not like the property management is on site or anything, nobody to tell us to leave. they just didnt want the big organized event like they had before from what I heard.

UPDATE on car, trying my darndest for it running by meet still have to wire it, install driveshaft, carpet, e-fan, allignment, DEEP CLEAN (no waxing for me LOL) and most importantly GET IT HOME.

 

Just wondering how many of you are planning to bring your significant other or is this just guys night at the cruise in?

 

Adam I have heard both ways that the show is and is not still gathering at the Safeway location. We will meet up there regardless. And cruise to the other spot if its dead or if we decide to cruise just for the sakes of cruising into a show togethor. I was also mistaken about the other show. It is at 67th ave and Bell in the Kmart lot. the show at Chili Bombers is on fridays. Either way, nothing has changed, just meet at the original location and we will go from there.

Gene I am not bringing my wife but I'm sure others will. Mine has a baby shower to throw that day so I'm glad I will be busy

Hmmm...the wife and the Maverick don't mix...aka-'the other woman!' LOL Having said that, you never know, she may tag along. I'm sure that at least one of my sons will be with me, if not all three. (Someone has to push the car!)

 

i have a chain. 4.6 should be able to drag you no problem.

 

More than likely she will come with me, she likes cars just as much as I do..... Shes a keeper
