Tony you have all the email addresses for anybody who is active on this thread, its the other 10 or so that need to be found by PM or some other way.

Gene, I don't think we need patches again, Maybe for the Fall meet but we dont want to do it everytime I think. Which reminds me, I need to send in the final payment for the patches now that I collected the last of the money.

Well I thought we could finally let this thread die after the meet. Guess its got a new life again. I thought for sure the moderators would have moved it long ago. I just put it here in thi forum because it got ingnored whenever I tried to start one in the events forum. I believe this is the main reason we finally got everybody togethor since they finally saw a thread about it.

Thus far Evites have been sent to Joe, Roger, Adam, Chad, Don, Jay, Rick, Robbie and Ryan. If you see your name and didn't receive one, please let me know...I could have typed the e-mail in incorrectly.

No reason to move this thread. It'll eventually die of its own reasons. Maybe because a new one will start. But as long as it is getting hits it'll stay near the top.:)

I forget who I was talking to about my 73 bumper and doing a bumper tuck. I found the pick of the car I was referring to. Thinking about doing the bumper tuck like in the pic but maybe a couple inches less so not to block the marker light like this one. Or should I go small bumper :hmmm: I just dont know. Well one way is free, and the other is $$$ so maybe its not too hard of a decision.

BTW, I LOVE this car, 73 grabber with grabber hood, original colors. Its owned by Allen Small's son.

Ya I remember now I didnt want to go small bumper because I would need a lower valance too. and thats just more money and I would have to get it painted to match. If for some reason my car ever gets hit in the front I'll go with the small bumper if paint work needs to be done anyways. For now I'll just do the bumper tuck.

You could always cut back those sides to eliminate the obstruction to the side marker light. Bring over a spare bumper and we can do some cutting and welding!

Oh no we won't. You don't just go cutting up and welding a 73 bumper, its the rarest of them all. I think if i slide it back a ninch or so less than Allen did then i'd be good. And I don't think a cut and welded bumper would look too good without having it rechromed. And if I was going to put out that kind of money I'd rather go small bumper and pay to get a valance painted.

But if you have an AWESOME drill and drill bits, and maybe a torch, we can get my bumper brackets off and drill the new holes for it. I anticipate this simple procedure to be a pain in the ass.

So my co-worker came into my cube the other day with 5 Green Street Beast Hot Wheels, the ones from the Kmart collector day. I already got one on it way from another member on here. So he said I could see if you guys would want them. He only wants $3 a piece which i think is more than fair since they are a one time only color and sell for about $8 on ebay after shipping. If anybody wants to put dibs on them I can bring them to the next meet or get them whenever.

I'm not a "collector" which ones are these?

Also if you need (not sure) I have a complete set of big bumpers for a 74 with all the brackets if you need anything just let me know. I was just going to make garage shelfs out of my big bumpers LOL

I don't think I'll need any bumper parts, the 74 and up stuff is different than the 73 stuff. I should be able to unbolt my mounts from the frame and relocate the holes back a couple inches.
