This morning I finished up an install of a set of traction master bars...the rear bracket bolts up underneath the existing shock plates using the existing u-bolt nuts. The front bracket is welded to the rear frame rail...I had to have the welding done. It came out pretty slick...I think.
Gene, are you racing a stang like Robbie? ... or a Mav still? I've been wanting to see you guys race...If I'm not working out of town that weekend...I'd like to make it before the Cruise....Wittmann's not that far. Ryan: Are you planning to go to the Wittmann drags before the Cruise? - Roger
I wont be shifting gears cause i havent had time to sell my AOD. Roger I wont be going to the drags, but I will be at the cruise.
Sounds good to me. But I have to go home and get the Mav first and put the trailer away. Time might be tight. We will be there one way or another.
I updated the first post of this thread. We are up to 43 members of the board from Arizona. Now the trick is to get them all to the same place at the same time.
With over 1075 posts to this thread...you might want to consider starting a new thread on any NEW upcoming shows and get-togethers. Most new people will not wade through all the posts and replys (as well as some of the "old" people )
I thought about that Craig, but this thread has become more of a Lounge for us Az. guys since there arent any regional forums. I see your point about letting people know about new events but we are also directing new guys to this thread that we see from Az and letting them know about the events.
I'm currently working on a Maverick tractor beam to bring them all together, but it's only in the beta stages.
One project at a time Tony, it's no wnoder your car isn't done yet. So the maverick tractor beam is expectd to be completed around 2013? Just hope your car will move under its own power by then.
That explains why in my recent junk yard searches I have not been able to find any replacement flux capacitors, or kanutur valves for my time machine. I suppose I can wait for time travel until after Tony is done with his project, taking one for the team
Those parts are probably in Tony's garage somewhere. But you gotta look close. I almost missed the Falcon Ranchero at first because it was hidden behind/under so much stuff. Side note: Adam you think you might have your car going in a couple weeks for the cruise?
