Custom Dash Guages

    What do you think? Thinking about getting a piece of 16 guage steel and welding in the hole in the dash to put a more custom guages in. All mechanical. Here is the layout I am thinking, but could change. Still up in the air.


    Side note, car is completely sandblasted, need to do very very minor body work. 100% rust free car (suhhhweeeet), Carpet soon, paint within the next month (have everything ready to go but time), windshield on its way, all new eletrical (need to install), very minor things to get should be back on road driving by very latest end of next month (more like end of this month but **** can happen).

    What hole are u referring? Gauge cluster or radio opening?

    I would skip the clock most stereos have them assuming your going to have one. The hardest part is getting the gauges angled to where they can be seen well.

    Someone did a kewl one on here. Don't remember who. I wanna say the car was connected to a performance/custom shop of some sort...

    Would the gauge cluster housing have to be done in metal for some reason, or would fiber glass work?

    No water temp gauge or oil pressure gauge but you have fuel pressure and a clock?
