I'll let him know everyone here sends him get well wishes. He put a lot of heart & soul into those cars. I'm thinking it may take a while for him to come around.
Chip is the 1st person I had contact with after buying my 74 grabber. I met him at the silver springs show years ago... I joined the cameo club shortly after meeting him... My Prayers go out to Chip for a speedy recovery....
Best wishes on a speedy recovery Chip. Never met ya, but after reading about what happened in these comments, you deserve as much moral support on here as we can give you. You sound like the type of person that doesn't let a temporary setback keep you down. Keep hangin tough.
Best wishes from Darren in Canada if you read this. Speedy recovery. U can always build another car, its secondary.
I'm glad to hear he's ok with out any major life threatening injuries! It could have been much worse or he could no longer be with us! I will be saying a prayer for his complete recovery, -Scott H.
i still would like to know what happen to the green car. Im glad to hear he is going to be alright but he only mentioned the blue car...
gene, i just sent him a letter. i used the address from the cameo website: 1370 Saratoga St. DeLand, FL 32724 that's the same address i received my copy of the magazine from.
Ok, good to know. Guess I'll do that also.. I was gonna call the number on the site but don't want to seem intrusive.
Holy cow!!! I'm just glad Chip is okay. He's a great guy. I met him in Silver Springs also and you couldn't find a nicer gentleman. And that was two awesome cars he had, ESPECIALLY the green one. I took a bunch of pics of it right after he built it. Very impressive car. The auction says it was a rollover. I just hope whoever was in it is okay. Looks like two different bad accidents! It's a shame what happened to the cars but like stated above, he can always build another. I wish you the best Chip...whenever you read this. Don't hesitate to contact me if there is anything I can do for you.
