    I went to do an oil change today. 331 low compression engine, AFR heads, probe pistons and probe rods and trick flow stage 2 cam. I race it and drive it every day to work. Racing I take it up to 6800 rpm.

    Looks like a piece of rocker arm fulcrum. Dont know what rockers you have on yours though.

    Looks like a valve spring keeper sorta

    It's not the rocker arms, here are my rocker arms. We didn't know either, took it to my engine builder and he knew right away.

    Okay I will take another guess, how about the cup on a lifter that pushrod sits in ?

    Looks like a piece of the side of a piston where the wrist pin goes through.

    Really hard to tell, but Looks like the center part of a two piece valve spring retainer

    I thought valve retainer at first but now I'm going with side of piston at rod ? How long before we find out ?

    Prolly RPM's + fatigue... How's the cam look? What about the bore for that particular lifter?
