    Welcome. Remember that car well when it was for sale. Do us a favor and take a nice pic of the gas cap. Was some debate on here about the design as to whether its different or just a camera thing in the ad.

    Original poster (Jerry) is NOT getting this car. I had several discussions with him about this car, and he told me he stopped payment on his check, and had the car turned around midway and sent back to the seller. Jerry paid all the shipping fees. Seller was in agreement to take the car back. Jerry was under the impression the car was perfect. After seeing the pictures in the ebay auction, seeing the runs in the paint, the torn headliner, mismatched front seat upholstery, etc....he sent it back.

    thts too bad:( maybe at a lower sale price he coodve gotten all tht fixd aftr buying it. he did say he was gonna redo it anyway

    If it's not what he was expecting then he did the right thing, now how is the debate over the gas cap gonna be settled?

    beautiful maverick. my 72 was a faded torn up version of yours when i got it, wish it would have been that nice but it was free maverick_082.jpg

    Wow...when I read his original post about how particular he is and remembering the runs in the paint and the rot underneath when I first saw the pics I knew this was going to be baaaaaaadddddd...lipstick on a pig comes to mind.:D Maybe he'll find one he likes.

    :Welcome:to the board.... Have you ever sold a Miata Monster? They were built in California with a Ford 302. They are screamers. The only way to tell, is the monster decal on the back & the monster on the seats. Very well built sleeper...
