    looked over the 70 ... i need outer tierods and front brakes ...and oya a headgasket for 170.

    I swapped out the bumpers on the new car. It had bumper guards and I have never been a fan of them so on went the standard bumpers. I also swapped out valances because the others I had were a bit nicer. I'll be posting the extra bumper parts for sale shortly.

    was going to pull carpet and seats to track down the leaks - then our toilets overflowed the downstairs because our septic tanks backed up - now we get to spend hundred$ or thousand$ on that - count your blessings people, you never know when things will change...

    I pulled my fuel system off today for a revamp, and put a heater core in a rat infested 88 turbo coupe t-bird today at least made some jingle off it

    I murdered the white car! The more I dug the uglier it got. Pulling the rest of the headliner I was able to see some nasty surface rust that made the roof skin weak enough to push a screw driver through. Sure glad I bought the other car! Going to try to salvage as much of the good stuff but there doesn't seem to be much.:huh:

    All that's left at this point is the cowl, floor boards and the front aprons. I am going to save the rear wheel houses and frame rails, seems to be a need for them and they seem solid, we'll see how they look though. I might do a little more tomorrow after work.

    didnt work at all on the comet :(, but thought about it all day at work and made several plans for upcoming mods

    Changed out my t-stat, installed the hood hinges and prepped the hood for mounting...

    ...removed/reinstalled it and now ...quite as a mouse...

    I installed my hood, man my hinges are worn out...lol... Fired her up and let it idle while watching the temp gage, gave up when it got dark and never got over 173* I hope the t-stat opens when I drive it...lol... I'll let her run again this weekend...

    Looked out the window at it... Waiting for it to stop raining but I doubt that, would really like it to stop though so I can take the leafs in to get re-arched
