Running a 347, twisted wedge Trickflow heads, full roller motor, Vic jr intake with Holley 750 Proform, followed up by a 4sp toploader, followed up by 9" with 3:80. I've only ran 1/8 mile with it and had a lot of fun but never could get any consistency because of the 4sp however I did break into the high 6's two different times, both times turning a 6.97. I treasure those time slips very much as that was my entire goal during a three month stretch of hitting the track. I'm seriously considering going back to automatic though and maybe trying my luck again. :)

    Makes a few horsepower.

My cars Previous set up was :

308 c.i. 1988 5.0 block with Speed-pro flat top pistons and 9.2:1 compression, Boss 302 windage tray,Moroso deep sump pan,All A.R.P. hardware,Ford Racing X-303 Hydrolic roller camshaft which has .542/.542 lift and 224/224 duration at .050 lift. The Heads are Edelbrock Victor Jr.s with 2.05/1.60 valves ,and Scorpion Roller rockers. The Intake is an Offenhauser tunnel ram with 2 Holley 450cfm carbs. The transmission is a C-4 with a Hipsters reverse full manual valve body.with 10 inch 3,800 stall converter. 4.11 gears and a mini spool. The exhaust system consists of Hooker #6901 Headers and 3 inch pipes with three chamber flowmasters.
    The car weighs 2910 lbs. and ran 12.20 @ 112.3 (7.70 @ 89) on slicks
and 12.45 @ 109 on Pep boys Futura street tires. :burnout:

Got 14.2 mpg on an interstate trip.

Also... the reason I gave the extra info on my car besides just the engine, was to give people a better Idea of what kind of performance the engine delivered.

New set up details coming soon....
