eh .... a Canadian wants to the Canadian tail light option ... imagine that. ;)

The red plastic lens panel is one piece for both lenses, and I forget exactly why, but there is some structure in the middle, top and bottom, so you have to cut the lenses on an angle to make it work. I sealed that cut with clear silicone after the mod, for weather protection.

If I have a reason to take the tail lights out, I will do a small tech article on this, but that is not in the forseeable future.

I dug out a set of spare lights i have and i see what you mean.Forgot you already said you had done this little modification.I like it, It doesn't take away from the originallity just puts a twist on things.I see on the CAMEO site there is a tech article on installing Mustang reverse lights.A neat upgrade too.

None of the above, I'll stick with my '67 Caprice lights/sequential turn signal setup.

I to prefer the 67 Caprice tails, although I like them with the impala lenses even better. I've got a set for my 77 but haven't had a chance to install them yet.

you should really do it...i'm quite interested in doing it as i put Red LED bulbs in mine so i can drive it... (havent seen it yet as i took the motor out) but i'd rather have two red lenses and i have like 2 more sets laying around so i can afford to try it. if you popped one out and did it it would be much appreciated!

I was looking for either those or Bobcats, which ever came up first I would buy, ended up with the Bobcats. Both look good on Mavs:thumbs2:

I originally wanted to do those Cyclone lights, but they are just too wide for these cars. I measured a set and there wouldn't have been any place for the gas cap
