size tire?

    howdy yall, im still new at this, but was wanting to ask what would be a nice set of affordable WIDE rear tires i could get, id like some goodyears, but whatever yall think will be good enuf for me

    I would look in the junkyard for Ford or Mopar 5x4.5 15s.. If you get them at least least 7" wide you can throw some 275s on there, Cooper makes some affordable ones under their, "Cobra" line of tires. From what I have heard, the Cobras are from the same mold as the Mickey Thompson Sportsman S/T tire.

    I put some 275s on some 7" rims and the sidewall bulged pretty bad...went to 8" and they stood up straight...JMO
    if you're not having a traction problem, 255s would fit nice...:tiphat:
