Trans Fluid quick Q

    Hi, i recently have rebuilt the C4, replace the torque converter and installed a trans cooler for my 74 Maverick.

    i will be heading to the store for some trans fluid on my way home from work. how much fluid and what type do i need for the trans?

    If the tranny and torque converter are completely empty buy a case of type F transmission fluid. They come in a 12 pack. Put about 2-3 in the converter and then 3-4 in the tranny. Start the car let it get warm and check level add more until at the correct level.
