Today, Jeff, Frank and I set about lowering the AC compressor on my Mav. Job took a good portion of the day, and we all had a "large" time, and got my car looking much better under the hood, and got the Monte Carlo bar from ToppoRanger installed. Here are a couple pics of the before and after.

Seems Franks luck is kinda like mine. He can work on other cars and it works afterwards. Work on his own and the strangest things happen.. :hmmm:

We took the existing bracket, and had a friend (thanks Harold) cut it down to mount the front of the compressor. We also had to remove one ear from the compressor that touched the water pump.

I called my a/c guy today, and he looked up the kit he put in my car. It is a Frigidaire kit, but he didn't have the part#. It is for a Maverick/Comet as well as other small compact cars of the early 70's. Sorry I can't be of more help, but it has been in there for 12yrs, and the receipt is probably here somewhere, but I have moved 3 or 4 times, you know how it goes. If I find it, I will get back to you.:)
