Nick and Earl's threads got me to thinking: Who all is thrashing to get things done in time to make it to the MCCI Roundup Nationals in Dearborn, Michigan. I know some of you are driving all the way there from points all over the USA...so getting these things done are more important to you than somebody like myself who will be there in about 4 hours.

I take my orange car to get an alignment on Monday. Can't take it on the Ford Test Track with the current alignment problems.

So what are you guys and gals doing to your Mavericks and Comets to "Get 'Er Done"?

I'm taking the green car (AKA.. Exxon Valdeze II) to the transmission shop, to see why it leaves a puddle of transmission blood everywhere it goes, I just don't have the time to deal with it myself, this hot weather has us hopping at work.

A/C work....with the weather like it is and like it was last year, it is a priority!

Nothing, got a bum knee. Can hardly walk. If I can make it physically; I believe my car can make it w/o any thrashing...
Im booked for an event in central Wis. on the 12th. abt the same distance frm here as Dearborn. Looks I might have to cancel that...

Have to do a wheel alignment. Have one of Bob's LCA eccentric eliminator kits on the way.

I have heard a lot abt those shingles lately. Going to inquire abt the vacination the nx time I see my doc. Hope my knee improves enough to make the RU. I intend to make RU.
It seems to be improving. If I need to have surgery, I hpe I can't put it off till late fall.

Nope! Just sayin'... I just love driving my car. So, when you see me, you'll know I drove it there. I'm sure I'll have to clean all the bugs off. LOL Makes all my hard work seem worth it, when people give me the thumbs-up, etc... Can't wait to meet everyone. I will be staying @ my brothers, not the hotel...

Well i did the cross member yesterday,(thanks Craig S. cross member was perfect) installed the header collectors, got the electric choke set on the holley street avenger. Did some adjusting on the alignment. today my son is going to work on the stereo while i do the Tachometer and gauges. I probably could have it done i three days but not when i work 10 hrs 6-7 days a week. really looking forward to the round up.
