Spookie just got out of intensive care today. I have a handful of things left to do. Two weeks from today I will be in Detroit.

Re-installed the alternator and a new electronic voltage regulator. Those problems now solved. On to the next issues.

    Still thrashing!!

I hate to admit it, but I've not even driven the Stallion this year (other than backing it out of the shed a couple times). I finally drove the yellow Mav to work the other day, but only once. I picked up another Fiero in March, so I've been driving that to work when the weather is nice (I know, boo/hiss in this forum, lol).

I had some good intentions on projects with both Mavericks this season, but thus far I've not had a chance to do anything on them. I "wanted" to do some detail work under the hood of the yellow car, but to no avail. On the Stallion, I need to tear into the dash to replace the heater core, then I wanted to get it to a shop and have the air conditioner checked out/re-charged if everything is alright. The heater core project scares me a bit, from what I've read the "air conditioned" cars are a nightmare. Anyway, not had a chance to get to any of those projects... yet. Just not enough hours in the day I guess.

I"m planing on attending, at least for the Saturday show, but with only one car though. I'm leaving at 5 AM next morning (Sunday) with the kids on a week long trip to the Upper Peninsula, so it's going to be hectic, but I don't want to miss the show, so hopefully it will all work out.

Today: Removed the arm rests and door panels from my 1972 orange Grabber. The windows have always been real hard to roll up and down since I put it back together. I had adjusted the tracks last year, and that helped some. Today I lubricated the hardware and that made a big difference. Also, for some reason both of my door lock knob rods were bent, and it always bugged me, so I fixed those.

I had also broke off my driver's door window knob a couple of years ago. I had installed the cheap repops. So I bought a real good high quality knob at the last swap meet I went to ($5.25 each). I installed the new knob, only to discover I put it on backwards. Tried to get it off and broke it. It took a bench vise to do it, but I broke the knob off real good. So the scrambling continues as now I need to find a new knob.

I also stripped all the old paint off of my old voltage regulator lid. Hope to get it painted tomorrow.
