    Got the trannie out last night. took it to a friend who owns a auto shop, he is going to go though it and install the shift kit for me. should have it back tomorrow and back in the car by Thursday.

    Just put new tires on my trailer. The ones I took off were original. Bought this trailer in winter of 2000. Tons of miles and time on them. Hope these last just as long.

    I still have the original tires on my open trailer I bought in 1999. I have checked them over...no cracking. My brother bought his enclosed trailer the next year and he is on his second set of tires. First set weather cracked bad. :huh:

    Does ur trailer sit exposed to the sun "ultraviolent" all day? U can't tell the condx the rubber just by lookin, esp. on the interior. If the tires were/are exposed to sun constantly and 13yrs old, I'd be a little uncomfortable towing on this hot pavement. But, that's just me...
