Changed the bulbs in my Sport Lamps and adjusted the back of my hood to line-up with the cowl height.

today I spent a bunch of money on wire and connectors and battery cable ends to run all of the under the hood wiring back to the trunk where it will eventually be completely hidden.
got the battery box placement figured out and got the starter cylinoid and voltage regulator moved back to the trunk also. also ran all of the engine bay wires outside the engine compartment.so when its all done the only wires that will be seen are the spark plug wires and even those arent going to be all hangin everywhere like most cars.
I figured Ill hid the wires from the distributor in a metal or aluminum gas or break line and run it along the top of the valve cover where the bolts go so its kinda incognito. then bend the line to go to the firewall then bend it again so it can go out of the rear corner of the engine bay and into the car. never showing a wire. even the battery tray will be deleted from under the hood and that rust hole thats under it will be cut out and the drivers side will look exactly like the passenger side EMPTY. :thumbs2:

lots more wiring and moving things around tomorrow

Still have the car up on jackstands awaiting brake cylinders, hoses and a master cylinder. I did a lot of little things:

    * Soldered a pin hole leak in the top of the radiator bowl
    * Rebent the broken end of my e-brake return spring and installed it
    * Removed e-brake cable pulley to put cable back on pulley (see above)
    * Replaced 552 flasher (had one in my junk drawer still in the package!)
    * Removed and repainted both kick panels
    * When I was taking out the kick panel on the right side, I discovered the original vinyl document packet with the protecto plate, warranty pamphlet and the Owner's "manual" attached by a clip to the bottom of the seat! I didn't even know these existed (all of my other cars I drove had glove boxes).

All kinds of piddly little stuff, but I can't wait to tear into those brakes and get her out for a maiden voyage before the snow gets here.

I love the sound of my engine with just headers. I have to put mufflers on at some point to make it street legal but you better believe Im getting one of those cut out adapters for each pipe so I only have to run those mufflers when I see the cops. even if they do pull me over for the noise I flip the mufflers back on and ask whats the problem officer? :biglaugh: hes going to say well your way above the legal noise limit. and Ill have to start the car and say you must have mistaken me for the car next to me :biglaugh:

Forgot to mention I was looking around for some crimp on terminals out in the yard, saw my box containing them sticking out from under a fender I have, moved the fender with my right hand and reached for the box of terminals with my left hand at the same time, drew back my left hand real quick as it was only inches from a Pygmy Rattlesnake who was laying against the box I was reaching for, snake are really bad out now here, we have hundreds of tiny toad frogs hopping all over the place, lots of rain and the frogs love to lay eggs, all the little ones are eveywhere.
Got my fuel pump and will install it tomorrow.
