Installed a new cable for the brake light in the trunk, so the indicator does not stop when I brake. And yellow indicator installed in the white backlight.

I did quite a bit today. Yanked out the gauge cluster, painted the inside white and replaced the bulbs. Pulled out the broken heater controls and installed a working replacement. Then I pulled off the steering wheel and cleaned it up. It had a Mercury emblem which just wouldn't do in a Maverick. I had an extra side emblem that I liberated the cow skull from and used it instead. Now it's Mav-rific!

I had a major boo boo last week, was goofing off on Woodward a bit.... lost oil pressure.... shut down.... trailer home... took oil pan off.. found 1/2 plug laying in it... no metal shavings other then that... just dirty oil... removed everything from the front of the motor..... found that the guy that did the machine work taped 2 out of 3 holes.... and the 3rd one is the one that fell out....took a bit of searching but found proper tab/plug and in process of reassembling now... will do serpentine belt conversion while everything is apart....

Drove the 1 1/2 hours to Calais to pick up brake parts on Friday. Only half of them were there. Installed all 4 wheel cylinders and rear flex hose. Removed master cylinder and front flex hoses--just waiting for the MC and hoses to be in maybe tomorrow.

That would be me!! I did it, I was stuck right on top of the ground...

Ok, back to the topic at hand...bought new bearings and seals for the front disc, also got 15" brake lines to replace the old ones I have, didn't get to work much on the Grabber, had to work this morning.
