so working on the maverick today, i went to install a new master cyl. working to get the lines off i twisted up one of them and snapped it. i tried to get a new line at autozone but the fittings are 2 different sizes and the new line makes it a 3rd.

does anyone know where to get original pre bent brake lines? looking for the Master cyl to per-portioning valve.

Autokrafters has them I believe, but I think you have to buy a complete set.

I bought mine from RIGHT STUFF DETAILING - do a web search for that name.

You might not see Maverick listed in their online catalog - but call them direct. They have them. Brake lines and fuel lines.

You should be able to get master cylinder fitting adapters. I'm surprised the guy at Autozone didn't tell you about them! Try Advance or Napa. :)

I had the same problem when replacing all of my lines I just bought a fitting to fit both ends. Im used to having to come up with my own parts to fit. oh yeah the lines were straight I just bought the line bending tool. it worked very well once I figured out how to use it.

by the way I went to autozone for everything

I bent and flared my own because I didn't want to use adapters. When I recently rebuilt my rearend I bought the lines from Right Stuff Detailing. Very nice products!
