    3ds Max 2010 is what I'm using to model it. :yup:

    So I've been working on the MAVERICK emblem... and just finished it and added it to the model.

    Spent the last 4 hours going over the body and the Grabber hood. Made quite a few improvements and adjustments to make it look better... and more exact. You may not notice any differences, but here's some updated pics anyway. :D

    Looks fantastic! You've got some sticktoitiveness for sure. Two little things I noticed missing though are the windshield wipers and the front crossmember which is visible under the front valance.

    I was planning on adding the windshield wipers towards the end of the project... but now you got me thinking that I should add them asap because I need to adjust the cowling where the wiper mounts will go. Good call!! :thumbs2: :idea:

    Haven't really gotten as far as adding the crossmember to the front yet. I'm figuring on finishing the chassis last. Come to think of it... I need a picture of that crossmember from the front, if anyone has one. :bowdown:

    As far as "sticktoitiveness", I'm a perfectionist... and I have a nasty habit of not finishing a project once I start it. I usually lose interest after awhile (or if things go horribly wrong)... But it seems that I haven't lost interest in this project, and I'm trying to finish it before Christmas lol! Plus, I know there's a few guys on here that are waiting for the final product so they can experiment with it. :D

    Is there anything else I missed, besides door handles, mirrors, etc?

    Maverick emblem looks a "little" high. :huh:

    Worked on the heater controls and added the Maverick emblem to the dashboard. What y'all think?

    Nothing but problems, no air conditioning, no rear defog, and no gas in the tank! HaHa, just kidding, looks great especially the emblem. And the detail on the controls is so nice and realistic.

    :rofl2::rofl2::rofl2:

    Hey, it shows no gas because the car is not running. After all, it will need the steering column, engine, a gas tank, and an ignition before that gauge will jump to full! lol!

    I'm glad you think it looks good! I spent 6 hours on the controls alone. Yes, I'm that picky. :rofl2:

    Dude... you are crazy good. Those pics remind me of my Mav when it was in better shape (read: "together"). I have a hard time keeping my attention focused on one thing for a few hours, but, you, sir, are in the process of logging days.

    I'm glad people liked my suggestion. However, one addition: if a small fee was charged to make this program available in a person's CP, if they wanted, maybe, the fee could be split between the forum and yourself, since you've logged so many hours developing this. This would help you get your ride and have it on the road a little faster. I think it's only fair that a man be compensated for his time and effort when it's applicable: "An honest day's pay for an honest day's work."

    Again, just my opinion.

    Eric

    I wonder what it would be like to model a Maverick as a Mad Max type of interceptor?
