    Simple answer, fox body Mustang owners run C4 all the time. Aftermarket has the 157 tooth 50oz flywheels, as mentioned above.

    ok guys!man this is fun!me(Pops)I am so grateful for ALL your input,and the heckling/sarcasm is obviously out of love n respect I can see!sarcasm is just one of the many services I offer and the lad will bear this out.Ryan,Baddad & all the rest-you cat's are GREAT!Ive picked up on the nuances and am moving fwd,flex pl8 just arrived,and as i was dozing last nite it occourred to me a newer dizzy(?)frm a stang would work,and the one in it now will swap into my 390/f-100 real nice & Ryno just finished polishing it!thanks son,thats y i luv u.....hopefully we'll be on the road in time to see everyone (in Phx @least)@Barro's-Again,thanks to all for helping us thru the rookie mistakes

    Hate to see that polish job go to waste, but a 289 distributor does not fit in a 390. The cap and rotor will fit, but the distributor itself isn't interchangeable with an FE big block.
