Bry and I met the guys out AZ which was awesome.... had pizza and then went to the local track there, speedworld... the mav had no nitrous, just the 331 and the nitto tires I used for the silver state race... Bry put down a 12.8, then a 12.88 and then a 12.7.... I got 14 seconds...yea, well he is a really good driver....
Hey Mo and Bry, it was great to meet you guys. Joann and I had a blast and had a great day. You car is bad ass. I'll try to make the next meet. Had to chose between racing and the car show. racing always wins..LOL.. Thanks for posting a pick of my Mustang and Maddie the Race Yorkie.
I had to laugh Mo. When we went to Speedworld for the evening session (Craig and Steve brought their Mavericks, Ryan was doing the Mustang and I was just a spectator) the starter came up to us and made a point to tell us it must have been Maverick day at Speedworld because they saw you earlier in the day. He made it a point to text Gene and poked some fun at not being there. It was great to finally put a face to the names, I'm glad you guys made it out. It was a fun time had by all!
LOL...yeah that was Rich...he texted me last night and said I needed to get out there and bust out a 14 second et and that you guys were talking smack.
Should have been there Gene. Would have been some good racing against the 2011 v6 stang. we were doing consistent 15.0x and a best of 14.98 at 94.7mph. Wish I could have got out earlier but had to earn some points with the wife to get out later. And to take her car.
