I would rebuild the c4 for power. Or some other direct bolt transmission

i hate that c4 and its gearing, my second gear is the only useful one...or thats how it feels anyways. and all the direct bolt ups are going to have the same final drive ratio, i need a lower one

Head over to ford six. They can help you in the transmission department more than me

Sell it and buy a car that all this work has already been done, like a 1996 Ford Mustang or a 2001 Ford Focus. :tiphat:

yeah, i was thinking of a v6 5 sp camaro, mustang, ect....what do these cars go for? body is nearly perfect, no rust anywhere, no leaks, all new cooling system, new heater core...the only bad is that it has a 10 gal fuell cell in the trunk instead of a tank.

You traded backwards, you got an older car. Try posting it on Craigslist, and see what people offer up.
