Today, I went an picked up the 74 comet from the garage . I think that will be the last time I have other people do work on my car. Way over priced for work not done . I did how ever , got the new carpet for the 75 comet that will get a new face lift. Tomorrow I'll have to freeze when I pull the carb off to tighten the screws up so it doesn't leak any more full. What a day. Almost broke too.

Bought the 70,000 mile Comet. Bunch of good parts here. The engine and trans will go in my Mustang. The mint dash pad and maybe the LDO buckets will go in my Maverick.

The car is all original even paint. Too bad the grill is broke. Damage to the top of the rt fender.

I hadn't seen a dash pad that nice in years

Actually what I see of the interior looks to be in good shape :thumbs2:

I figure the dash pad, disc brakes and rear end are nearly worth what I paid for the car.

I've never seen a 4 door with a floor shift (I think) Loads of good parts on it.

It's a fine running and driving car. Maybe some will see it as a shame to part out, but I've given it a lot of thought and this car is perfect for me to part out. I can use parts on all 3 of my other cars. Plus I will have a bunch of Comet/Maverick parts to sell to recoup some of the price I payed.
