Try driving around with semi-rotted exhaust, what people assume are racing stripes, and a big hood scoop. I can barely get across town without some hothead trying to race me at stop lights. :rofl2: That and all the people that like to yell out "do a burn out!" I like talking about my car with people at the gas stations, in front of restaurants and the like. Stop trying to get me pulled over... I already get pulled over for "showing excessive speed" when I lose traction on a paint stripe in the rain. I don't need to be intentionally hot dogging it.

Although I will admit that I live on a road that some people think is ok to street race on, I know it's not, and there are a few people in my apartment complex that have street/strip styled cars. And so far not a one of them has been able to keep up with my Comet. And this is just to stir the pot. There is a nice looking maverick in my apartment complex and we had a little go at it, it went better for me than him, which just feels good.

Try driving around with no exhaust, i've had anything from a new boss 302 to a minivan try to race at the lights. Still pretty fun setting off car alarms though :burnout:

I've done that many times and in many states through the years. Some people just have no sense of humor or really appreciate these kinds of things though. Buncha party poopers. :)

I think my favorite was a little old lady in a late 80s T-bird. She stopped, waved, revved it up, and took off with a bit of smoke and wheel squeel. I was naturally, too shocked to respond.

I do LOVE setting off the car alarms though. I found 1 I drive by every day that I get to set off coming and going. Right across the street from my apartment managers house.
