What did you do to your Maverick or Comet today

    Same here. Had to put axles in my integra and brakes on my truck.

    the plugs I installed yesterday were the wrong ones...:cry:
    installed the correct ones today...:yup:
    Earl called while I was changing them. I changed 2 of them while talking to him on the phone. after we hung up I called him back 20 mins. later after changing the other 4...I love not having the shock towers...:party3:

    Cleaned all the parts off of it. Funny how it becomes a shelf in the winter.

    Let's see....4 + 2 = 6......I thought you had a V8 in your Maverick Frank :hmmm: Also thought it was not a problem changing plugs on a 6 cylinder even with shock towers :huh: oh well back to my nap (y)

    LOL did the same thing and started it.
    Got everything up to temp. and moved it around the barn.
    Put the cover back on and came back inside. Its still cold here.
    Did the same thing to the Mach 1.

    Put on a new carb, changed the oil and filter and installed my new steering wheel...

    went to the machine shop and gave them another $200 towards the 347 and found out I owe $300 on the new dart block yet then its time to start paying on the super charger kit :bananaman

    another $3k to go :cry:

    Primed a fender and a door.. Sealed the door up after the rust killer stuff.. Now tarting the work on it, needs more work than I thought.. Got it pretty close though so now with a coat of slick sand it should be super perdy.
    Had to abandon it pretty early in the day though as my dad needed a hand putting in his new kitchen cabinets/island.

    I got inspired yesterday and dropped the gas tank out, as I had a sneaking suspicion that it needs to be cleaned out. Which it does, badly. Now I have to find a place that will boil/clean it without having to cut a hole in it.

    Did you end up having the Comet shipped to you from Oregon or did you find another one ?

    I hated to see you have to sell it after all the work you did on it, hope you have it
