    Hi, I just bought a 1970 Maverick but my mechanic doesnt know what machine does this have, i guess this is so wrong... can someone illustrate me on how the VIN can help me? OK91T220251

    Thanks, then why the measure of the pistons diameter are from a 250ci?

    If I remember correctly, the pistons have the same diameter as a 250, the engine just has less stroke.

    The pistons are the same from the factory=3.68" diameter. The stroke 3.91" is on the 250 cid engine.
