During tear-down of my car oh, so many years ago I either lost or tossed out the crusty, hard brake lines that run front to back. Now I have a spool of replacement line to install. I assumed it would be easy to find a photo of how the lines run. I searched the gallery without success, and looked in brake line catalogs without success, even my 5 vol. shop manual doesn't show it. I can't for the life of me remember how it routes. I think it runs down the tunnel to the rear end??
Does anyone have a photo of what the lines look like (so I can bend them) and where they are routed (for install) front to back?

I have some lines that are removed from a car, if that will help.

Thanks Craig, I had saved those from before (very helpful) , but I was really hoping someone had a photo of how the hard lines (non emergency brake) run under the car and where all the bends and junctions are....

That does help, now I know where it is routed (I looked through your links last night but didn't see that one so thanks). Still can't get it quite big enough to view details though...

    Resto work on Comet

Just looking over your photos of the work performed on your Comet .. Impressive! I'm a Comet fan also and I like the double taillight , mustang back-up light setup shown. Neat ..this treatment definitely increases the visibility
from the rear. Nice going Mister.

Thanks a bunch; I stole the back-up light idea from you! Have always liked the look of the solid red tail-light lenses and valence back-ups.
I wish now I had started with a better foundation, but it's getting there....

I'm building another Comet as you read this .. I've incorporated miniature turn signal LED lights on both my mirrors and the "bottoms" of mirrors..( nothing huge or bulky) that will indicate my turns from the SIDES of my vehicle . You can see them from the front and rear also. The lenses are "clear" so they're barely visible until they're activated .. then they blink "Amber" .. I'll send you a photo when I put them back on the car .. I'm in the process of assembling everything now .. You know the drill .. Engine, tranny , drivetrain, interior ..etc. I'll save the light numbers if you're interested .. they're available in any good Truck Center . Let me know .. See ya .

    hi
i would be very interested to see your turn signal lights in your mirrors.
my car has cleaned off side markers, so the turn signal is almost invisible from the side and id like to put something hidden.
please send me more info on that! thanks

I hope this helps. The car is still on the ground, so I had a hard time getting an "overview" shot like Mr Selvey.
