Scraped probably a cup of Mississippi mud from the frame rail that's normally blocked by upper control arm and under steering box... Surprisingly the caked mud has acted as a preservative and there was only some slight surface rust on the metal... Also found a couple pieces of wire still hanging on the welds as well...

I plan on having it cleaned and prepped in the next few days so I can repaint the engine compartment...

Sorry I get this way every time the UPS driver comes down my road, he never makes a delivery without having a look at my car and asking about it.

Tried to start the Maverick after finishing a long list of things to do list.........couldn't get it to fire...........................my old high dollar Mallory fuel pump has expired..............just packed it up and sent it back to have it refurbished...................didn't want to spend 350 plus freight for a new one.................also just noticed that I need to rewire the hot side of the pump.........old wire is looking pretty sad...........will be waiting like Frank, but for the big brown truck to bring it back to me......hopefully in a week?!
