In a nut shell, no. The part of the reveal that goes above the door and the quarter window is there from the factory. You don't really see it until you shave the drip rail off. I then extended it down the A pillar and around the quarter window opening.

    Did that help any???

Thanks, I guess I'll see that soon then. What thickness material did you use to extend it?

    Really looks good all together.

I have been a huge fan of the spoilers, was kind of in the middle ground on the valance, and didn't care for the mirrors, when seen as individual pieces. Now that they are all together on the car, there was that "A-ha!" moment, where your vision of this is finally being shown to rest of us .... much better!

I do remember I did offer this car up as an even trade should someone want to save the Sprint. But you can't call dibs 5 years later. Too late.

    Thanks.....

I know, I know..... it's been a while. I had a few things to take care of for some friends that were promised long ago. Just finished up a 1929 Model A pick up that I have been working on for a few months. Anyone here following along on my FB page here:https://www.facebook.com/pages/Copper-Hill-Rod-Custom/188438841189393?ref=hl has seen what I have been doing.

In the mean time I have been doing little things to some of the parts for the car. I did get that big load of parts all powder coated semi gloss black. At some point I will post up pictures of it all once I get a chance to unpack it all.

I also got the bumpers back from the chrome plater this week. They are spectacular is about all I can say. Where I cut and welded the rear bumper is nothing short of perfect now. I spent way too much for chrome plating, more than most on here for sure ever would. But, I am only building this once and can't have decent chrome, it needed to be perfect. And that is what I got. I used Advanced Chrome Plating in Tennessee. They are know for their high end show finish. Anyone in the hot rod/ street rod world knows who they are. Or if you have sen any of the real high end cars in shows like the Detroit Autorama going for the Ridler award than you have also seen their work.

Here are the rear brackets after black powder coat:

With all new hardware. I even machine polished the heads of the stainless bolts for a show finish:

And now the bumper fit to the car. These aren't perfect as I was all by myself and trying to be really careful. They need to come right back off and stored away until final assembly of the car.

The fitment here will be much better, but I didn't want to get too carried away without another set of hands to help me out.

Next week I will do the same with the front.

I like the fit, it may be something I do, but I'm staying away from the chrome shop this time. :)
