These are some action photos from US129 (aka The Dragon) that where taken last month at the mini meet in Pigeon forge Tennessee. This was the first time my son (passenger side) has seen the maverick since he painted it. He moved to Tennessee in the spring after he painted it but before I clear coated and put it back together.
Boy! That's a lot of riding in a Maverick. I recently did 500 round trip going to the James Dean nr Muncie IN. and was glad to end the trip. I am considering am/ cruise control for nx season to ease some of the cramps associated w/ gas pedal.
I did the Dragon on my motorcycle a few years ago. I had no idea how close it was to Pigeon Forge till I pulled out my map. I hit the Foothills Pkwy and spent the weekend there. It was a blast.
