Columbus Swap Meet 11/30 and 12/1

Is there anyone here planning on going to the Columbus All Ford Swap meet 11/30 and 12/1?

I am sorry you are not going to make it this year Dave. I would of liked to have met up with you and chatted for a little bit. I am going to meet Raymond and pick up some parts from him I am purchasing. I think I will only be there for Saturday though. I will drive back home on Sunday.

Raymond is a pretty cool guy, he once gave me a fender, I didn't ask for it, he just said "Here, take this fender"....I wish, I was going, but my wife has plans the I have to attend.

Dave, I worked it so my wife will ride to Columbus with me, she will drop me off and then she is heading out to shop hop the quilting stores in the area. Originally she had asked me just to take her to some stores in another area. I got her to switch areas and pick other quilting stores so I could do the swap meet.

Raymond is a nice guy, you have to be patient with him. He is bringing me a set of Red bucket seats that I have been looking for! I have been talking to him for almost a year now about these seats. He has a lot to deal with at home with is business and family. I look forward to actually meeting him and putting a face with a name.

Don't forget to fill out the ticket for the door prize, I actually won $500 a few years ago.
This will be the first time I'm not allowed to go, other than the time I had to go to court. My wife usually lets me do what I want, when it comes to my cars..

You have a good wife if she lets you do as you please with your cars. There are a lot of women that do not like old cars or understand our attraction to them. My wife is the same way as long as I do not get out of control with the spending. She actually encourages me to have my old cars. She just requires that every now and then I take her places and do things with her. Not a bad deal for me.

Had a good time today. Met up with Allen, he bought me lunch! Thank you Allen! Met Raymond and ran into Craig and someone I met in Carlisle but cant remember his name. Was much bigger than last year but Maverick stuff was slim pickins.
